North-West Electric presents gifts for less fortunate students who has advance academic performance in Song Ma District 13/07/2019
On the morning of November 17, 2018, at Song Ma District People's Committee, Son La province, Northwest Electric Investment, and Development Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of Hoang Long Group, delivered presents for less fortunate students who have advance academic performance in Song Ma district.
Attending the event were: Mr. Do Quang Loi, General Director of North-West Electric Investment and Development Joint Stock Company; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Nguu, Vice Chairman of Song Ma District People's Committee, NGT Tran Luyen - Vice Chairman of Vietnam Association for Education Fund, Chairman of Education Fund Association of Son La Province; Mr. Le Bien Cuong, director of Nam Soi Hydropower Plant; Mr. Bui Duy Hoat, director of Nam Cong 4 Hydropower Plant, and delegates under the Education Association of Son La Province, Song Ma District People's Committee, Muong Cai Commune People's Committee.

At the program, the managers of North-West electric handed over 50 gifts to less fortunate students who overcome difficulties to achieve high achievements in 2019 in the district. The company also donated VND 50,000,000 (Fifty million Vietnamese dongs) to the Education Fund of Muong Cai commune.

Mr. Do Quang Loi, general director of North-West Electric Investment and Development Joint Stock Company stressed: "Children are the future owners of the country. Therefore, they need to receive proper care for protection; especially less fortunate students who overcome difficulties to achieve advance academic performance. The gifts, although the material value is not big, have spiritual meaning. These are the encouragement for the students to overcome difficulties and continue to rise in life.”

On behalf of the district leaders, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Nguu thanked and praised North-West Electric Investment and Development Joint Stock Company for its constant interest in social activities in the area. He especially thanked the company to help the poor and disadvantaged students rise in life.
This is an annual activity of the North-West Electric Company, a Hoang Long Group’s subsidiary, to help with education development and encourage the young generation in the district toward a brighter future.
